I tapped my pencil impatiently and
looked at the clock. The teacher droned on about
grammar and essay form. I saw a few kids passing
notes and one making a paper airplane. Half an
hour later, the bell rang and we raced out of school.
It was a sunny day. I ran to the forest, my favorite
getaway. I laughed and twirled around a tree,
happy to be free. Then I sat down and mused.
