I sat with Bella, Alex was sitting with Cole. Alex had made me look 29, and Bella 28. We pretended Alex was Bella's, and Cole was mine. We called Alex Lexie and Cole stayed the same. Alex and Bella turned out to be better actresses than I thought, so was Cole.
I had to pretend Bella was my mom, it made me laugh in my head. "Mommy?" I acted, no one looked suspicious, so I guess I was pretty good at acting like an average 6-year old. The only thing people were staring at were my eyes and skin tone

I looked at Alex strangely, "Uh, sure..." I paused, "sweetie," -grimace- "what kind do you want?" I felt utterly humliliated talking like this, but, it was for my new family, so...

I tried no to burst out laughing at Alex and Bella, trying to pretend to be related. I, personally, wouldn't mind being related to Alice.

I pulled back in defense, raising my hands and leaning back on the plane seat.

I nodded at Alex, "Sure, you can have a striped kitten, honey," I grimiced, an attempt to smile.

I push my back teeth against my front, trying not to spit out a sarcastic comment.
"No, mother. But I am quite hungry."

I smiled at Alex, and how good she was at pretending. I pulled out a bottle of water and sipped it, kind of tired.

I was tempted to say...bear. But I held it in, again.
"Food sounds nice." I smirked at our 'converstion'.

I watched people pass by to use the restroom, then pulled out the lame magazine filled with ads that they gave you.

I shrugged. "No idea, Alex," I replied quietly.

I looked at the lady who had just cut her finger on a soda can, and I licked my lips. I turned quickly, keeping a close stare with alice to keep my mind off of it.

My eyes turned darker, and I thought about my choices.

I plugged my ears, it looked normal, a younger kid plugging their ears on a plane
